Our History

In 1997, Matt Turner saw an advertisement in the local paper for a co-op position at Scarff’s Garden Center.  Loving the outdoors and getting dirty, Matt figured working at Scarff’s would be the perfect job.  As the years past by Matt gained more experience and more job responsibility.  As a salesman Matt loved to help customers pick out plants for their spring landscaping projects.  As the plants grow and blossom each year so did Matt’s passion for the “Green Industry”.  After four years of working at Scarff’s Matt’s high school days were over.  With college in the future Matt decided to continue his love for landscaping at The Ohio State University.  During college Matt decided to put the knowledge he was learning to good use.  Matt remembers the day his dad said to him, “If you want to start your own business now, so that when you graduate college you will have a client base, then I will help you.”  Matt said, "yes I would love to do that."   After graduation from The Ohio State University Matt continued to develop the business he started four years earlier.

Turner Landscaping is one of Springfield’s finest full service landscaping companies. We form lasting relationships with clients that extend outside of our landscapes.   We offer a full range of services to fit the individual needs of each client.  Turner Landscaping can create a backyard oasis, find a unique solution for a common problem, or maintain your landscape with perfection.  We serve both the residential and commercial markets. 

 In 2009 Turner Landscaping launched a new division within the business, Turner Waterscaping.  This new division was created to help our existing clients and new clients with water feature designs, installation, maintenance and everyday questions.  Turner Waterscaping is committed to providing you with all the knowledge and expertise to create your own "private oasis".  Today Turner Waterscaping is one of the leading waterscape company in the Miami Valley and surrounding areas.
